Below is a chart from Trendistic that shows the rocket ride of tweets that occurred Tuesday morning (the search is for tweets that included both "Gartner" and "Burton Group"):
You'll notice that the height of tweeting was around 9 AM ET, when the deal was announced; it then took five hours to subside to a steady, low buzz.
